Head of Business

Automotive Talent Partners is recruiting a Head of Business in Reading, Berkshire.

You will lead the dealership's overall operation, working with departmental managers to support commercial performance, customer service and effective teamwork. The role brings together responsibility for business planning, financial performance and the day-to-day standards delivered across sales and aftersales.

Advertised on-target earnings are £100,000+.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall operational and financial performance of the business.
• Work with departmental managers to set priorities and review results.
• Monitor budgets, profitability and key performance indicators.
• Support sales and aftersales leaders in improving their departments.
• Coach managers, develop team capability and maintain clear accountability.
• Review customer feedback and address issues affecting service standards.
• Maintain appropriate operational, reporting and compliance processes.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency and business performance.

• Experience leading an automotive dealership or managing a comparable automotive operation.
• An understanding of sales, aftersales and dealership financial performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• The ability to interpret performance information and make commercial decisions.
• Clear communication, sound organisation and a consistent customer-service focus.
