Transaction Manager

Automotive Talent Partners is recruiting a Transaction Manager in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

You will support the sales team with customer negotiations, deal progression and finance and insurance processes. Working alongside sales colleagues and management, the role focuses on progressing enquiries effectively while maintaining clear customer communication and appropriate sales standards.

Basic salary of £30,000, with on-target earnings of £55,000.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales colleagues with deal structure and customer negotiations.
• Help customers understand relevant finance, insurance and additional-product options.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable sales and compliance processes.
• Monitor enquiries, appointments and sales progression.
• Coach colleagues on follow-up, presentation and closing opportunities.
• Work with sales management to review conversion, performance and customer outcomes.
• Help resolve issues that could delay a sale or customer handover.

• Relevant automotive sales, sales-control, business-management or transaction-management experience.
• Understanding of vehicle finance and insurance processes and the importance of compliant customer communication.
• Strong negotiation, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to support and coach sales colleagues.
• A commercially aware approach with a clear focus on customer service.
